Collage + drawing

This is a piece i created for my A-level textiles, where we had to produce a piece, scan it into the computer and have it digitally printed out onto fabric. The theme was Street Life.

Stitches

I've had a go at each of the stitches on the sewing machine, there's actually 24 stitches, but i did the ones i liked the most. I particularly like the fifth stitch, although it looks better when the length is closer together.

My new sewing machine!

Here is my brand new sewing machine... my sister can have hers back now! I knew i wanted a Janome, so when we went to the shop it was pretty easy to chose, i liked this one as it's good for free hand stitching and button holes. It's a Janome J3 - 24. It's pretty snazzy!
